Employee of the Quarter Lauded

March 2009 Updated on 25 March 2010

Since the instigation of an employee participation scheme dubbed ‘Conyers’ Community’ the partners of law firm Conyers Dill & Pearman have now chosen their third recipient of the Employee of the Quarter award.

The latest employee to receive this coveted award is Katherine McLaughlin. The firm said Katherine was chosen owing to her exemplary performance and well deserved promotion into the position of Corporate Administrator in which she is receiving in-house training.

The winner of this award is granted the opportunity to choose someone or a charity to whom assistance will be given by the company.

Katherine was thrilled, and as usual went beyond the boundaries, to choose a close family friend who had been involved in a tragic accident over 12 years ago and was in need of some additional medical supplies and personal effects as one of her donations. Along with this donation Katherine also chose The Lions Club of Grand Cayman, NCVO, Cayman Crisis Centre and Savannah Primary School.

Managing Partner Rick Finlay said that the firm looks forward to continued support for the community and has been delighted with the response from staff to the initiative.
