Conyers advises on Weatherford International Ltd. senior notes offering and commercial paper – April 2012

Conyers advised Weatherford International Ltd., one of the largest oilfield services companies, on its $750 million senior notes offering and the increase of its commercial paper program to permit its offering of up to an aggregate of $2.25 billion notes.

The senior notes offering is of $750 million aggregate principal amount of 4.50% senior notes due 2022 and $550 million aggregate principal amount of 5.95% senior notes due 2042. The notes are guaranteed by Weatherford International Ltd. (a Swiss joint-stock corporation) and Weatherford International, Inc. (a Delaware corporation).
