Canucks Nice Spirit Warms the Coaches

May 2009 Updated on 25 March 2010

Cayman Islands law firm Conyers Dill & Pearman have continued with their sponsorship of a team of junior hockey enthusiasts aged 12 and under, the Conyers Canucks.

The WestTel Youth Hockey Leagues has developed dramatically from their inception in September 2006.

Conyers Canucks formed last year and the team has gone from strength to strength and proudly displayed their new jerseys at their latest photo shoot with their coaches.

The team practices during the week at King's Sports Centre under the supervision of Ray Singh and coaches Chris Moser and Chris Hope with regular matches on Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings.

Moser said: "I think we have the best group of kids in the league! They get along great. Each and every one of them has improved from the beginning of the season and it shows out there on 'the ice'. I wouldn't trade them for the world."

In addition to its support of local education, Conyers Community is also actively involved in a number of local charities.
