Issues to Consider when Establishing Offshore Companies and Investment Funds: Cayman Islands, BVI, and Bermuda Compared

The course will cover the establishment of exempted companies and investment funds in each of the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, and Bermuda, and highlight key incentives for using such offshore jurisdictions including tax regimes, flexible regulatory requirements, legislative and judicial stability, and ease of set up and maintenance.

The presenters will conduct a jurisdictional comparison of exempted companies and investment funds amongst the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, and Bermuda, and illustrate the specific advantages of operation in each jurisdiction. The course aims to provide clarity on the options and opportunities available within the market of offshore companies and investment funds.

Piers Alexander, Alexander Doyle and Devika Parchment of Conyers' Hong Kong Office will be presenting.
