Conyers São Paulo advises on Itau Unibanco/MCC wealth management deal - August 2011

Conyers advised Itau Unibanco, Latin America's largest private sector bank, in its joint venture agreement with Chile's Munita, Cruzat & Claro (“MCC”), a Santiago brokerage and financial advisory firm which manages nearly $2bn from about 350 clients. The joint venture was formed on August 1, 2011 and will seek to lead the wealth management market in Chile.

Alan Dickson, Chiara Nannini and Gabriela Romano of Conyers’ São Paulo office advised on the deal. Chilean firms Claro Y Cia and Alcaino, Rodrigues, Sahli also advised.
