Conyers advises on Max Capital Group and Harbour Point Merger

Conyers advised Max Capital on its merger with Harbour Point, which completed on May 12, 2010. The merger creates Alterra Capital Holdings Limited, which has capital of approximately $ 3 billion. Alterra trades on the NASDAQ Global Select market under the symbol ALTE.

Conyers lawyers Mary Ward, Christian Luthi and Chris Garrod advised Max Capital in association with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, while BofA Merrill Lynch acted as financial advisor to Max.
