Conyers advises on first asset backed securitization since 2007 - July 2011

Conyers advised on the GE Capital Aviation Services (Gecas) $290m asset backed securitization for a pool of 30 aircraft engines including the issuance of E Notes, which closed on June 24, 2011 and is the first asset backed securitization since 2007.
The transaction was backed by leases to 18 airlines for 26 engines (with the remaining four engines available for lease).
