Posted 01/01/2012 • Updated 02/03/2012

This memorandum has been prepared for the assistance of those who are considering
the formation of a company in an offshore jurisdiction for the conduct of business
outside such jurisdiction, such as an exempted company established in Bermuda, an exempted company in The Cayman Islands, a business company in The
British Virgin Islands, or a Global Business Company in Mauritius. This memorandum deals principally with the more common corporate forms and activities and outlines in broad terms the requirements of each jurisdiction for the establishment and operation of a company.
